interesting day today. I felt tired this morning and was very hesitant about the day. I made some potentially very costly errors this morning but luckily didn’t get punished for them as I could have. So I cut the quantity of trades I made back severely as I wasn’t feeling sharp. This seemed to help as I finished the day 11/13 = 85% and up a total of 45 ER Ticks net/contract.

A problem I ran into today was going for trend plays with a scalping quantity. Usually, my trend plays I enter with 1/2 lot size as to give myself some more of a range to work with in where to put and adjust my stop price. But I was jumping in there with the full lot size and managing the trades as if they were Trend plays. While I will ultimately get to the point where this is not an issue, I use 1/2 lot size for a reason and that is because I can’t emotionally stand the swings that are involved when going for Trend plays with a full lot size.

Like I said, luckily the plays went my way and I didn’t lose 2x the amount on the Trend plays but this error signaled that indeed I was not on my game and should be defensive going forward.
