6-2-2006 Trading Results

It was almost a surreal sort of feeling today as for the first time ever I felt no pressure to enter a trade. Getting off to a good start certainly helps but usually after my first or second loss I start making more and more errors. But today, I had practically no losses. With a batting average of 87.5% going 14/16, it was by far my best day %-wise ever.

Many of the “errors” that I am making and documenting, I am doing so willfully when enough mitigating factors are present. The one exception today was the final trade of the day which I managed to both enter and exit prematurely.

This is the first time I’ve had 2 consecutive high % scalping days since I started this new method. I’d better watch out, If this trend continues I might just turn into a complete trader!

6-2-06 Trading Goals

I didn’t trade yesterday as I woke up feeling like hell. When I wasn’t even able to concentrate on a book I was trying to finish, I knew that I was in no state of mind to enter the markets.

Feeling much better today, so we’ll see how it goes.

My focus today will again being in keeping the reigns on my Impulsiveness and making sure that I only enter trades that have adequate confirmation behind them.

Secondly, I really want to try to be with the trend and not against it should one develop. I’m noticing that I have been getting into a bad habit of making more Short plays on up-days & vice versa. While it is still possible to make money doing this, it opens up a lot of potential for error financial ruin as well as the opportunity cost of not being able to stay in and ride a powerful trend should one develop.
