I’m done movin

Well the cable guy just left and I’m happy to report that the move went great and the Internet connection is working wonderfully. I sure did pick a good week to be away from the markets as whippy as things have been. I have a lot of work to do as far as stock scans go in order to get back into the swing of things so i may or may not be ready for tomorrow morning, but by Friday at the absolute latest I’ll start posting my picks again.

A quick aside: I just wanted to let everyone know of a very wonderfuly handy (AND FREE) program I’ve been using that has saved me a ton of time in my research and stock tracking. It is called WinSnap and you can Download it Here.

It is an extension of the PrintScreen function of your computer. But where PrintScreen takes a screenshot of your entire computer monitor, WinSnap allows you to customize what you are actually copying. It really comes in handy for those of you running multiple monitors on your desktop. Before, if I wanted to get a screenshot of a chart, i would have to do a printscreen and then pull up a picture editor and crop off everything that wasn’t a chart…it was a very time-consuming process.

Winsnap enables you to do a Printscreen of a particular window, tab, or you can simply draw a rectangle around what you want to copy. You then have the option of copying it to your clipboard so you can paste it into a document or you can save the Printscreen as a Jpg or Image file for future reference (this is the feature I use to post my daily results spreadsheets).

Just thought I’d share as it has helped me to cut, paste, & anotate stock charts much more efficiently now than ever before.

Enjoy!
