3-8-2006 Daily Stock Pick Results

Another solid day today. I was surprised by how many of the plays actually triggered: 12 in total which is the highest number since I started the new system.

BKHM did a 180 on me today, but does look like it may be setting up for a nice hourly fade tomorrow.

ZOLT had excellent followthrough (FT) today

OVTI was just a bad call all the way around. The short at 24.43 vs yesterday’s low at 24.14 was a costly mistake that was compounded by the hourly stop above 24.88.

IFN was today’s star and really had some great FT today

FLIR, depending where/if you got on board was either a nice win or a small gain. There was an hourly reversal at 1:00 but I always place my entries just beyond they next $.05 mark so I was not triggered at 26.71. I did get the fill a couple hours later at 26.63 & had a nice run up into close.

I will be meeting my accountant tomorrow morning and will not be trading except for perhaps an afternoon scalp so I will likely not have any picks for tomorrow.

Good trading!

The PMS today is -3,3,1 Where -3 = the score, 3 = the number of conflicting signals, & 1 = the number of neutral signals. I’m adding this notation from the point forward to help bring some clarity to the score. The higher the first number and the lower the seccond 2, the better the chance of market followthrough.

I don’t really have a bias today & will be looking to take advantage of plays on both side of the market.
